Fire Door Inspection
Who inspects your fire doors?
The safety of your staff and premises is paramount and often unknowingly compromised. The 'Fire Door' serves as the first line of defence between you and a fire. A ‘Fire Door’ is a crucial safety device, limiting the spread of fire and smoke, ultimately saving lives and protecting property.
What are Fire Door Inspections?
Fire door inspections are crucial to fully ensure health and safety measures. As part of our diverse range of services, we provide a fully comprehensive inspection, conducted annually or bi-annually.
Fire Door Inspection entails on-site checks to ensure all fire doors are safe, compliant, and effective in protecting occupants and built assets against smoke and flames in the event of a fire.
We conduct a total of 24 industry-specific fire door inspection checks on each and every fire door. Following this, we provide you with a detailed report, including images so you can visualise potential hazards of incorrectly installed fire doors. Our fire door inspection report outlines recommendations, including essential works required to meet current guidelines and safety regulations, as well as a list of non-critical but advisable improvements.
The Inspection includes:
- Identification of any potential issues that may impact performance.
- A detailed report offering advice and recommendations on necessary improvements.
- A repair proposal, which may include replacement doors and a regular maintenance program.
- Our team of inspectors are BM TRADA certified, ensuring that all fire doors inspected meet necessary regulations.
