Steel Fire Door Supply & Installation
Our steel fire doors offer an even greater level of protection than other door types.
Often used in warehouses or busy factory floors, where FD120 ratings are required for added protection.
Steel fire door features
- Certified to BS EN 1634-1 and BS 476-22 for up to 120-minute integrity
- Fully CE-marked doorsets, simplifying CPR / UKCA compliance
- Heavy-gauge (20–16) galvanised skins around a mineral core resist impact and corrosion
- Weather-proof seals the same leaf to serve internally or externally on factories and warehouses.

Why do steel fire doors matter?
In environments such as industrial facilities, healthcare settings, schools, and offices, steel fire doors serve as a first line of defence against fire.
They are engineered to withstand high temperatures, preventing the rapid spread of fire and smoke, and providing occupants with vital time to evacuate safely.
Compliance with UK standards
Our steel fire doors are rigorously tested to meet BS EN 1634-1 standards.
This ensures they provide the necessary fire resistance and integrity. Each doorset is also CE marked, signifying compliance with European safety and environmental requirements.
Fully accredited fire door installation
Safety and compliance are the foundation of our business.
We’re fully certified to carry out fire door installation in line with the latest UK regulations and safety standards.
Steel fire doors typically have ratings between 60 minutes (FD60) to 120 minutes (FD120), making them ideal for applications where a longer fire-resistance rating is required, such as factories, warehouses, or large industrial buildings.
Steel fire doors offer the highest level of protection of most commercially available fire doors and can achieve a fire rating of up to 240 minutes. This high rating allows steel doors to provide longer protection during a fire, preventing the spread of flames and smoke for up to four hours.
BS (British Standards) certifications, such as BS 476 and BS EN 1634, specify tests that fire doors must undergo. UKCA markings were introduced in 2023, replacing CE markings as the standard to indicate a fire doors conformity and compliance with UK law.
Steel fire doors must meet the relevant fire safety regulations, such as the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 which applies to all buildings that aren't individual homes. They must also be tested and certified according to British Standards (BS 476, BS EN 1634) to ensure they offer appropriate fire protection. Regular inspections and maintenance are necessary to keep the doors compliant and functioning properly.
