The challenge
Supplying fire doors for an active prison environment requires a precise and collaborative approach.
Each doorset had to meet not only UK fire safety standards but also the higher security demands of a custodial setting. The design and manufacturing process needed to be fully coordinated with the contractor to ensure the finished product was suitable for both fire resistance and operational security.

Once the specifications were finalised, we manufactured and supplied pre-hung FD30s and FD60s doorsets, ensuring each one met the agreed standards and was ready for straightforward installation on site.
Throughout the process, we provided technical support and clear documentation to assist the contractor in meeting the project’s timelines and compliance targets.
