The challenge
This large-scale project required careful coordination to supply and fit a significant volume of doors while maintaining consistency in both performance and appearance.
The specification called for high-quality finishes suitable for a luxury residential setting, with no compromise on fire resistance or certification. Scheduling and access also had to be carefully managed to stay on track with the overall build programme
Our approach
We supplied and installed over 500 FD30 and FD60 fire doors, each with oak veneer finishes and complete with compliant architraves.
Every installation was carried out to BM TRADA Q-Mark standards, ensuring that the doors met all necessary fire safety requirements.
Post-installation, we implemented a maintenance and inspection schedule in partnership with the building’s facilities manager. This ongoing service allows us to keep all door sets in top condition, identify any early signs of wear, and ensure continuous compliance with regulations.
The outcome
The apartment block now benefits from a fully installed and certified fire door system that complements the design quality of the development.
The use of oak veneers delivers a high-end appearance, while regular inspections help maintain safety over time. The facilities team also benefits from clear documentation and expert support, giving them confidence in long-term fire door compliance.
