The challenge
The development required a mix of FD30 and FD60-rated fire doors, as well as glazed fire-rated screens, to meet both design and safety requirements.
Installation had to align with a tight construction schedule, and the finished result needed to match the building’s premium aesthetic while fully complying with current fire regulations.
Our approach
We installed 250 fire doors and glazed screens throughout the development, selecting pre-finished products to meet both fire safety performance and architectural standards.
All installations were carried out in line with BM TRADA Q-Mark requirements, ensuring that every door and screen met the necessary certification and performance criteria. Following the handover, we set up a regular inspection and maintenance programme in partnership with the building’s facilities manager. This allows us to monitor door performance over time, carry out any necessary adjustments, and maintain full compliance across the scheme.
The outcome
The development now benefits from a complete, high-quality fire door system, including glazed screens where required.
All components are fully certified, correctly installed, and maintained for long-term safety. Residents and building managers can rely on consistent fire protection backed by regular expert support.
